Majid is a seasoned QHSE Coordinator with over a decade of experience in health, safety, and environmental management. Holding a third secondary education along with NEBOSH and IOSH certifications, he began his career as a mechanic with Saud Bhawna before transitioning into the oil and gas sector, where he served as a roustabout and floorman. His passion for safety led him to join the HSE department, where he now plays a critical role in promoting a culture of safety and compliance.

In his current role, Majid is responsible for overseeing safe work systems, updating HSE policies and procedures, leading incident investigations, and submitting monthly HSE performance reports to the ministry. As a member of OSHEMCO under OPAL, he actively contributes to the development of national safety standards and regularly conducts awareness sessions to promote best practices across the workforce.

Majid's notable accomplishments include maintaining a seven-year streak without any lost-time injuries and playing a key role in supporting his company’s successful ISO certification process. He is a certified Lead Auditor in ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety), ISO 9001 (Quality Management), and ISO 14001 (Environmental Management). In addition, he has received specialized training in coaching, radiation protection, and on-scene command operations.

His responsibilities also include conducting focused inspections in high-risk areas and managing critical safety-related permissions and licenses to ensure safe and uninterrupted operations.
